Missed opportunities

Was supposed to catch a movie. Jon Poh insisted that there was no need to book the tickets online cos he said they had opened two theatres instead of one. I was skeptical but he laughed at me. fine. i went off excitedly. upon arrival, we found out the only tickets left were the ones on the 2nd row - 6.5 metres away from the screen and it was at the far right which meant we not only had to crane our necks UP, we had to turn it LEFT for a whopping two hours. so of cos' we didn't take those seats. Well, I guess can't be helped. Such things happen.

Missed opportunities after all come in all forms. The simplest of which can be, for example, in a facebook (fluff)race. I don't understand why but everytime I decide not to pick a minion/dark horse to win, somehow the system or whatever plays a cruel joke on me by letting those underdogs win.. and i missed so many of such opportunities today.. some would have won me 5-digits munny. And the latest one which really pissed me off involved 3 heavy weights..Stalin, Sunshine Bear, & Prada. There was NO WAY anyone else other than these 3 could win. Yet some weak dolphin won!! and usually I would have picked even the underdogs but this particular time i didn't. and it won. could have won like 10000 munny. Haha sorry to bore you with this story but I know the facebook (fluff)race fanatics will know what i mean.

Guess life is an AWFUL lot like that. We miss opportunities here and there, some serious ones, some minute ones. like the chinese saying goes 过了这个镇，就没有这个店了. if you miss this town, you won't find this shop again. So seize the day and the opportunity when you can, of cos' with the wisdom and guidance of God at all times. and I guess for those who love God, they have this promise that all things work together for the good of those who love God. so even in the midst of missed opportunities, God can still work something out. Meanwhile we just learn our lessons and move on with life and...
