8 AM

I can't believe I actually chose two 8 - 10 AM tutorial slots. In my undergrad days that would be absolutely believable, but not now, considering my post-teacher days have habitualised me to waking up late (i don't even dare say what time, cos most of you are already at work by then). Yea, it's been tough waking up early this whole week of ICT... can't imagine if I ever have to go back teaching, how on earth am i gonna wake up man?

so back to the unearthly 8 - 10 AM slots.. I didn't have much of a choice cos' of this stupid bidding system and as a post-grad I can't bid, so I have to settle for the leftovers. 9 years back I would have loved the 8 - 10 slot. I still remember adoring my pragmatics class, cos it was at 8am and when the lesson ended at 10am, i would be the first out of the door to catch my no.10 bus HOME! Weiling always thought I had a screw loose or something to like early lessons.

Just reminiscing the good old undergrad days of NUS... wish I was young again. lolz.

I SEE TEE

nonsensical title. actually it means I.C.T. Annual In camp training. and mine starts this monday for a good 2 weeks. I've even forgotten this is my #?? ICT? I suppose it's my fourth or is it 5th? tsk tsk..how could I forget such things.

anyway, this marks the first ICT that i'm going for ICT WITHOUT lugging bundles of exam scripts to mark, cos' in previous years, my ICT clashed with the prelims/promos and the school didn't excuse me from marking. yea..so in between activities, like when i was safety spec at the range last year, I whipped out an essay or two whenever I could and just frantically mark to meet my daily quota and the deadline for marking. Taking one pay but labouring for two organisations.

And this time round, I'm no longer going as a teacher.. YAY. no more unnecessary attention =)

ICT is always a time you look forward to, ironically, cos you get to meet those people, it's like an annual 2-week gathering, at the same time you get to get away from your work and whatever else.

so that's my ICT for you.
