My maiden post

In case you didn't know, maiden means "first"...

Finally decided to come out of hiding after 3 years or so of having a restricted blog in msnspaces. As a teacher I felt it was really hard to have a blog which anyone can access, as you then can't rant about the toils and snares of school or complain about the monkeys in class. So now that I'm free...I've decided to create a blog.

Being a student is really so different from working, now that I've experienced both worlds and am back in the student world, I really relish those moments of just having your own free time and lots of it (at least for now, assignments aren't due so soon)!! Those of you out there, both students and working people, don't envy me, I deserve this break k and what's more I'll be back to teaching once I'm done with this.

nothing much to say for now, just that I still feel out of place in the big space of NUS...as a Masters student, I don't really know anyone and what's more I'm like one of the oldest (other than the lecturer) in the 4000 module which I'm taking... but it's ok. guess anonymity has its good too.
